Re: Which type of blade release do you prefer, and why?
Agreed. The Winchester has that history or mystique behind it and I like the thinner feel but a Marlin is a bit heftier. I feel my 94 has actually gotten better through the years,it seems smoother now than it did 20 years ago. My lever has no play and sits nice and tight and I know some can be loose...

Need Microtech Repair
My Amphibian does not open properly,if I push the blade in and hit the button at the same time it snaps open so the spring is ok. There is a slight "gritty" feeling when button is pushed. I refuse to send it to MT for repairs(too much of a hassle) So if anyone has the little handy-dandy Microtech wr...

It says: "It is right he should go home to die in dignity with his family"
Plese explain what is "right" about that? Does he deserve to die with dignity?
In my opinion he gave up his right to dignity when he helped kill 259 people in the plane and 11 on the ground.

Re: Knife Making 101
There are finished blade available. These are great for learning handle assembly and knife design. Try these before you get into making a blade. Warning- it's addictive. Thought that might be a good idea to start with a finished blade before tackling blade shaping. I found some nice looking blades ...

That's a beauty there Muskrat, nice wood grain on that one. I am partial to the thinner Model 94,but I'm talking about over a standard Marlin not this beauty of yours. Not sure what year mine is(top eject) but my brother has a pre 64. I agree, everyone should have a 30-30,there's nothing on earth it c...

Right when I think the world can't get any more screwed up I read something like this. What more of an excuse does he need than being terminally ill to go out in a blaze of glory by blowing something else up and taking another 250 people with him? What about the families of the victims, where is the ...

Yeah that's a biggin'. Call me strange but I'm a huge animal lover and that includes spiders, scorpians, lizards, snakes and other creepy-crawlers. I've run a tree service for many years and shut the operation down lots of times to get critters out of harms way. I pulled a 6ft blacksnake from a hollow ...

Re: History of the Vendetta Corsa stiletto!
Not sure what you are asking? You asked if they come in other sizes than the 13" but then state you have them in 9",11", and 13", so what is the question! lol...As to the marking, from what I understand it is just a marketing tool as the "stiletto scilano" marking is. If you want to think it is som...
