Re: September 11 th Today
Well since that date has rolled around again, I figured I would add a qucik not to this post. Once again in NYC and elsewhere, there are thousands of people mourning and every TV station broad casting about our loss and sorrow. As some one who lost friends and a next door neighbor, and who was there...

Re: Italian OTF Trapdoor Stiletto Video here...
Very nice! Thanks! No hate remarks from me! I was in Lucern, Switzerland in the late 1970s with my parents as a teen. and there was a small shop that had switchblades for sale. He had one of these and it did feel cheap to me and I did not get it ( wish I had), but they do look like cool knives.....T...

Re: Kick springs sticking out past handles
I will add one thing which I guess added to my opinion that this is not an issue for me. As I read the others replies, I asked myself why I almost liked a spring protruding on certain knives, and then I remebered that I am a bit older and was around when all the false button models where being sold,...

Re: NAILED ONE ;] :] !!!!
Went to one of the near by lakes tonight and did pretty well. I got about 10 small large moth bass, and 15 fish that I could not ID. They were caught in brackish water ( were the fresh water runs off a water fall into a saltwater inlet. I sometimes get freshwater fish there and return them to the fr...

Re: Kick springs sticking out past handles
I have never considered this an issue, and in fact thought it has an appeal on some knives, but I have seen others post that it is a concern for some. I will tell you, I have have seen many knives that are very old, and well used that never have an issue with function or spring breakage due to this ...

Re: Mikov fans...What do you think of the new Microtechs?
I can say this here ( I have on bladeforums and been attacked), but all the USA makers have copied Italian/German designs with the high end OTFs, so I am not surprised they would do the same here. I am sure it is not a protected design now ( if it ever was) and the USA makers are smart enough to rea...

Re: Total Loss
I feel very sorry for your brother's loss. When possible you should make an inventory of what you have and take digital pictures of what you own, copy to a flash disk and leave in a fire proof box, and or a relative's house ( all pre fire things to do). The older I get, the more I think I need to sh...
