Hubertus Guardian with Damascus

I bought this one awhile ago, I can’t remember the name of the company off hand it’s in my files. But this knife was imported. I got so excited when this came in the mail and just as fast, my disappointment set in. The knife right out of the box wouldn’t open, bad kick spring. Bill fixed this knife ...

Re: Armando Beltrame 9 inch ATS-34 Stiletto

yes, it’s sad when a company decreases quality. I might be talking about a different place there were two sites I think. There was one that let you choose the knife you wanted built. That site seemed good to me. This other outlet wouldn’t even let me exchange! And rude!

Re: Armando Beltrame 9 inch ATS-34 Stiletto

I ordered from them a few years ago and I’ve never seen such poor quality stilettos in my life. Total Frankenstein knives. One of the bolts was just a cheap flat head screw. Wobbly blades. Spines with so much gap that it was barely hanging on! Good riddance These were actually pretty high quality k...

Re: Unexpected

Does anyone have this issue? You have been looking for certain knives for months, even years. Suddenly one will pop up. You buy it, then another you want even more will come available. You buy it, then another, etc. You really can only afford one. But you have waited so long you have to get them wh...

Re: Armando Beltrame 9 inch ATS-34 Stiletto

Is SKM / MABer Colltelerie actually out of business or is the website itself just down temporarily? Honestly I think the quality of SKM is comparably poor and wish Armando Beltrame would at least make a website for his higher end "AB" line... :( I ordered from them a few years ago and I’ve never se...

Good for you on the score! I forgot to add in the post that AGA does make some fantastic picklocks also. A myriad variety of them.

Re: My Frank B with blonde horn

Gents - Some nice Blondes here for sure. Here are a few I've had for some years. 9" dagger blade is stamped Frank B Italy. 11" dagger has a very faint stamp of Stiletto Italy. Both have the same build, quality, snap and feel. The 9" swinguard is stamped Stainless Italy and is a thicker, heavier kni...
