Re: What is not acceptable to you?
While we're on the subject, what is the worst spring-peek anyone can show us?

Re: What is not acceptable to you?
I kind of like the look of it. It is just another sign of an auto. Also, a spring that goes out that far is going to cause a harder snap than one that doesn't push out as far.whippersnapper wrote:I don't like it
Of course, there is a limit to acceptable spring-peek; I've got a few that are a bit much.

Re: What is not acceptable to you?
I've never heard of anyone minding the exposed spring-tip. Quite the contrary; most people seem to like it.All my 13"s and a few 11" have the spring exposed but this does not bother me in the least.

Re: Does anyone have a pic of a swinger with brass/wood?
Definitely made in ITALY! Falcon is a Campolin brand. Also, SMKW wouldn't shuck ya... Thanks. I had a feeling they were legit. However, I'm always a little leery ever since I found out that those newer Kissing Cranes are made in China even though they say "Germany" on the blade and many reputable d...

Re: rizzuto estileto milano
I get excited when I search Ebay for "Rizzuto" and get 100 hits...all for Phil ;) I get excited when I search Yahoo Images for "Rizzuto" and get 100 returns...of articles about mob guys killing each other. But then, there's is a little disappointment when I realize they didn't stab each other with ...

Re: Does anyone have a pic of a swinger with brass/wood?
Thanks, Tom.
That seems like it might not be a bad knife for $25 (it's only $16 but minimum shipping is $9). Do you think it's really made in Italy?

Does anyone have a pic of a swinger with brass/wood?
I have seen a lot of swingers with wood scales; that is nothing unusual. However, I have only seen a few swing guards that have brass bolsters and swinger. Right now I am trying to find a picture but having no luck. Does anyone have a picture of a swing guard stiletto with wood scales and brass trim...

Re: Italian single action otf
What are the red circle and blue lines supposed to indicate? And does anyone have any more pictures of this kind of OTF from the side? I'm interested in learning more about how that lever works putting the blade back in place. It seems like a smart idea that they would put something like that on the...

I just realized the Joker's Cupid clone made a second brief appearance in The Dark Knight. He pops it out right when he says (something to the effect) "We'll cut you up into little pieces; then we'll see how loyal a hungary dog is" to the Chechen. http://i1266.photobucket.com/albums/jj526/JimBrown25...

Normally it's bad form to link to an open auction but I think no one will mind this time:

Re: Brass Knuckles For sale
Welcome to the board Mr. Ivanez. I don't know if you'll have much luck with this thread as it is almost two years old and the seller has been gone for almost that long. I do have a pair of brass knuckles around here somewhere. After work I will try to find them and I'll PM you a picture. While I hav...

Re: WTB bowie knife
I was browsing Ebay today while waiting for my carpool and I saw a number of reasonably priced quality Bowies (and a larger number of unreasonably priced ones). I didn't put any on watch because that's not really my thing but you'd be able to find a dozen good ones to pick from in no time.

bad bayo grinds What part of a bayo grind gets messed up in a bad one? Does anyone have a picture of what would be considered a bad bayo grind? Or could you just describe it? The one specific thing that really bothers me is a blade that peeks. But there is something in general that really irks me w...

Re: Waltco Saf-T-Sheath Outdoor Knife
I went to clean the top pin on the front right handle. I thought it was covered with rust but when I went to clean it up, it just disinitigrated. A pin had been lost (it must have been decades ago) and someone replaced it with a wood peg/piece. It was like a log that has been underground for years; ...
