I grind by hand. One of these days I'm going to build some jigs. I use a Hardcore 2X72 and Grizzly 2X72 belt grinders. A Rhoomba would be cool, if I could get it to run a cold beer out to the shop.

Maybe this will help- The tang of the blade should determine where the backspring sits-open or closed. The "kick" on an auto should only touch the kickspring.
