I noticed that, too. Either BHQ got the specs wrong or, as you noticed, they're erroneously showing the 2016 flatguard but actually selling the 2017 Classic. I'll post a followup in this thread when it arrives. A picture is worth a thousand words...unless it's the wrong picture. :|

I ended up compromising a bit and ordering a stag version from the same site that had the horn-handled knife - a bird in the hand...

You lucked out. I contacted the same seller about that very knife and they told me to call the store on Monday to assure that it fit my needs, but the early bird gets the worm. Congrats on landing a great and hard to find knife. :D

Hey, Dave. I was thinking of a 2016 Campolin, but any of the above will do, as long as it's tight and straight, though I'm not particularly into filework. I had an AGA in my sights yesterday, but it was gone before the seller replied to my query.
