Re: NYC definition of a switchblade
You have to understand NYC to get what is going on with this situation. In the 1950s the first anti switchblade law in the nation was passed in NY State. The federal law was based on it and passed two years later. The law defined two types of knives that were banned switchbaldes and gravity knives. ...

DA Vance is actually calling them gravity knife since they can be flicked open, and assisted openers he is calling switchblades...All been discussed here and on baldeforums many times. Do a search for more details. He is wrong, but so far there has not been much of a fight.....

I caught three fair size yellow perch, and saw a f...

Julian the knife from your youth is on ebay every once in while. I collect alot of the older 1970s Japanese stuff myself for memories. They are no where near as well made as today's stuff, but boy do they walk me down memory lane.....

Re: New Reference Book - Canceled
I too have all the books, and would buy a new one, but I do believe that there is only a small interest in book buying. Bill, do you have any sense of how many Italian autos are made each year? Or at least how many Leverlettos have been made since they started manufacture? I only ask this to get a s...

That does clear up the present situation, but these are 30+ years old! It still seems strange that they would have them that long in a display case. I totally believe you, I am just amazed....did you get the only two?
