Re: Cracked Ice/ Pearlex

I have always had a "soft spot" in my heart for the "Cracked Ice" look on a pocket auto. I had a number of folding pocket knives with the Cracked Ice polymer scales when I was a kid, I truly enjoyed them.

As many know, Iam a multi-talented performer.

I've been working on Randy Newman's 1999 tune "Every Time It Rains". This is a sad tune about a man pining for his lost love every time the summer showers soak the ground. (In the event that you are unfamiliar with the tune you can listen to it on YouTube). The number was on his 1999 "...

Re: I adore my Panama (Toquilla Palm) hats.

Excellent! The intellect of the ancients is, indeed magnificent. You likely know more than I concerning the subject. I enjoy listening to those that know more than speaking. While I possess a broad spectrum of knowledge, my study of the ancients hasn't kept pace with either you or that of the profes...

Re: Found this on Ebay

This reminds me of the old "false button" knives that were sold in men's magazines during the late 1960's and early 1970's. They specifically stated that "if you push the button, nothing happens." They went on to state that it is really a fine knife used by sportsmen and fisherme...

Re: I adore my Panama (Toquilla Palm) hats.

In the "real world" you can "virtue signal" all you like, but people judge you by, a) the way you dress, b) the words you use, c) the manner in which you carry yourself. I prefer to be viewed as classy, erudite and articulate. It isn't snobbery, but educated portent, and proper s...

Re: I'm still in love with my Buck 110 Auto.

Believe me, you won't regret your purchase. I also have an Aftermarket Buck 110. It is excellent but has no "Forever Warranty" as do the Commercial offerings. If you're smart, you'll invest in a Buck ballistic nylon belt pouch. This help keep the brass from tarnishing and pitting. The Comm...

Re: I adore my Panama (Toquilla Palm) hats.

...Why do I have visions of Hannibal Lector walking away at the last scene of Silence Of The Lambs? lol! Bingo! Something tells me that you live in t-shirts. Most lazy men do. They can't be bothered with looking and dressing as an adult. This is typical of our slovenly, and informal society....

Re: I adore my Panama (Toquilla Palm) hats.

Sadly, most men dress like little boys. I prefer to dress as an adult. (Have you performed a "mirror check" lately)?

Re: I adore my Panama (Toquilla Palm) hats.

Go to Village Hat Shop and you can see both. I recommend both. If you go to Fashionable Hats (fashionable hats.com) you can find a nice Stetson Haberdash (shantung straw) for $40.00 shipped to your door. It takes you back to when men dressed as men. (Not as little boys in baseball or "trucker's...

There's nothing better for keeping my bald spot from getting burned than my Stetson "Retro" and Jaxon Trilby Panama Hats. These look good while keeping me cool. (You have to love that).

Me likey! That's a great "pocket protector" if I ever saw one! Drop that in your shirt, or sports jacket, pocket and it would immediately "take the worry out of being close". Strong, pointy, and mean. Yeah, I'll go for that. :)

I'm still in love with my Buck 110 Auto.

I know I sound like a "broken record" (yes, I'm that old) but the Factory Buck 110 Auto is a "keeper". It is built for "show and go"! So many automatic knives are flimsy toys with limited function, but for $150.00 (more or less) the Factory Buck 110 Auto is a "work...

That's a beauty. It is too bad that the Socialists are taking over Mother England. The stabbings are primarily due to the radical Muslim invasion.
