To keep it from damaging your eyes or skin, just mount it in a cardboard box, and set the box over the items you want to disinfect. 3...

Re: ROSCO Leverlock

Yes, the bolsterless ones have the pins for the lever to pivot on.
Correcting the peek involves either building up/replacing the sear, and/or welding the sear hole in the blade.

Re: Another shellpuller

Just a standard 11 CM Hubertus With pullers added and new scales.
It originally had stag scales.

Re: ROSCO Leverlock

The knife is original.
It was made by Bonsa for the George Rose Company. It's their standard 10 CM model, made without bolsters.
These are less common than normal lever locks.

Just finished this one.
Customer wanted "V" cut pullers like on the Johnny Cade knife and black jigged bone.

Re: Blade wobble fix

You should be able to squeeze the handles together to eliminate the gap. Then, peen both sides.
If you over-peen the swivel side, it will hang up.

Re: Blade wobble fix

Don't put it in a vise.
When peening, you are deforming the head of the pin further.

Re: Blade wobble fix

The only way you could have made it worse is by not using an anvil (or similar) to support the back side of the pin you are peening.

Re: Who made this switchblade?

I believe that is the stamp of Frank and Armando Beltrame, before they became separate businesses.

Angelo Campolin, Sr. was the foreman of the Mauro Mario company. He also made knives for them.
He was not related.

Re: What date

Mid- 1950s -mid 1960s.
Some have stainless blades. I would think those would be later production.

Re: Where do I get brass pins?

You'll have to measure the pin you want to replace.
