Sorry to read about your dad. I believe the tang stamped Hubies were made from 1955 - 1972. After that, the blades were etched.

Mayberry crime update: The wild women have been quite busy with the usual stuff; drunk driving, resisting arrest, failure to appear, shoplifting etc., but none of the really entertaining stuff. I'll keep an eye on the local paper for something more interesting.
