Ian: I keep sending messages to you and no response. Suspect you changed email address and never corrected it on this forum, hence you don't get PM's or what I email to your last known address.

An annual competition is held by the New York Times to see who can create the best original lexophile. This year's submissions: 1. I changed my iPod's name to Titanic. It's syncing now. 2. England has no kidney bank, but it does have a Liverpool. 3. Haunted French pancakes give me the crepes. 4. Thi...

Divorced Barbie

One day a fella was driving home when he suddenly realized that it was his daughter's birthday and *shock* he hadn't bought her anything. Out of the corner of his eye he notices a shopping mall. Knowing that it was "now or never", he pulls his car through three lanes of traffic, finds a parking bay ...

Re: Unusual older ringpull

Hi Dave, The bayonet and the dagger version look fabulous. You pitch these designs to Angelo. He may build one. It cold be the next leverletto or in this case ParaPunto. Keep up the great work. John I have pitched several designs to Angelo and he came back with "I only have six builders." There is ...

Re: Unusual older ringpull

OK, I promised to post this, so here goes. First a bit of history: This is a "Russian Prison Knife" from Mike Kovalenko that recently passed through my hands. There's lots cool about it, but for now just notice the swingguards (actually a single guard straddling the blade.) https://images2.imgbox.co...

Re: Are Kris blades a "working" blade profile?

I can design one, I can visually see what I want in my imagination, but almost nobody can produce one. A functional edge depends upon an angle of 25° or less between faces. Take an average 5/8" wide blade with a dagger profile, that means the height of the centerline is 5/16" and if the blade is 1/8...

Re: Vintage German WWII fantasy switchblade

Russian Prison Knives also feature Nazi logos sometimes, much like American prison tattoos. It's counter culture and white racist propoganda.

Re: Renzo Pascotto Collection

With all due respect, Mick17, Maniago does not seem interested in new Italian Stiletto designs. I've done dozens of them, even sent a few to Angelo who said that he didn't have enough builders to try them . My collection contains multiple knives from multiple curlers whom I have commisioned to build...
