For Sale or Swap Italian Milano Lockback "Pre-Rizzuto" SOLD
Here's one I hate to part with, but it's time for a new home. This one came from Italy with a lockbar issue. Issue fixed, knife lightly cleaned all over and a few light scale cracks stablized by the great Bill DeShivs. A rarely seen piece measuring a little under 10". Closes deeply, super hard snap,...

Re: Any Rizutto clones for sale?
Can't keep away from the rizzy talk!! I agree on the Korean swingers, they just aren't right with tightened guards, the guard rattle is a part of the design and you'll never get them to rest solid against the top bolster with a hammer alone. If you want solid guards you'll have to press your luck wi...

Re: Any Rizutto clones for sale?
Don't worry, I didn't buy any  It's very cool that Bladeplay got more of the 8 1/2" Koreans in-stock. That's the 3rd time, if you missed out just go on his email list to be notified when he gets more, it will happen again I'm sure. I went through a pile via an eBay seller to find the one 8 1/2"...

Re: Any Rizutto clones for sale?
8) Offer sent 8) I agree with all info stated. The step bolsters are my 3rd favorite, right under the swedged flatgrinds and ultimately the lockbacks. Here's a pic showing a white one just like your's sitting beside a "lighter & cheaper" built pearlized one. The ones with silver buttons have always ...

Chad, I am touched by this post and thanks for all your kind words! Wow 2007, it doesn't seem like almost 4 years have passed already. I also can't believe the youngest baby just started school this year. Time sure does fly, I sound like my dad now  I am happy that this thread re-fired your int...

It is a beauty indeed!! Great job Bill and a perfect addition Chad. Did the Hubie come with those scales or are they new to the conversion? They look terrific, love the side profile.

Re: Movie Switchblades
What a hoot that "Gruesome Twosome" flick is! 100% Mod pop-art...the rizzy fits right in 8) . Yep, that stiletto is from Spain. I've never seen one of those fixed guards in-person, but I've heard they're coilspring fired, the swings use a leaf spring. I've seen the fixed guards in smooth black and f...

Re: Movie Switchblades
Just popped in the blu-ray of "Return of the Living Dead" and checked out the otf scene. The knife is a French "Le Superoto". Gorgeous view, you can even see the handle texture and slight rubbing mark on the mirrored blade. One of these, the sticker is removed on the film used one. This pic isn't mi...

Return of the Living Dead lol, I just picked up the blu-ray last night!! I forgot about there being a switchblade, can't wait to see it in high def!! "House on the Edge of the Park", I was going to mention that one, that is David Hess from Last House. I love those little Spanish otfs, there are some...

Congrats BTB, glad you got it! Are they new, old-stock....or is a newly produced "Rizzuto Estileto" about ready to surface everywhere online? What are the variations? The suspense is killing me. Can't wait to see pics!!

Re: The Rizzuto of OTF's... the SUPER AUTO!
Very sorry sicboy  I shouldn't have jazzed you up so much about how nice it'd be. Especially knowing full well the inconsistencies that exist in the tourist knife scene. I just figured between mine & xpunk's luck it would be a sure thing. Shocked to hear it uses the thin lock bars!! This one a...
