Re: Fallmessers

Yeah but the wood handle is defintely more similar to the green one than the trapdoor despite being the third one issued. The trapdoors don't seem to be as common and I assume they made less of them or were prone to breaking or both.

Re: Fallmessers

I knew it should have a trapdoor, I was wondering what the hole was for. Grade wise this is about a D+.'m assuming they phased these out because they were a little more complicated and not as robust as the other( green handle) model. I use to have the other one ( Type 3? Green handle) This one is In...

Re: Fallmessers

What about these ones? It says 60 on the blade so I'm assuming 1960 and it was manufactured by WKC in Germany. Is this military issue or some sort of civilian version? http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn35/Austin_Von_Rotz/IMG_1494_zpsohxvxnhj.jpg http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn35/Austin_Von_...

Re: Tiny Manual Stiletto

There's a ruler underneath the stiletto  Guess it's not that clear; the stiletto is about 5.5 inches. Feels a lot smaller. (Flickr now has a manual image size selector, sorry for the tiny first pic  ) The other pic does it more justice, there it is next to a quarter and an 8 incher. https:...

Tiny Manual Stiletto

I had no idea these got this small; pictured here with it's competition at the time( Pal Blade Easy Open jack, and an Imperial Trick knife). The stamp on this one is just Made In Italy.

Re: 13" Latama

This things a tank, but it's too much for me( too nice too rare). I'll probably part with this soon. I can see why people spend what they do on Latama's though.

Re: The Rizzuto of OTF's... the SUPER AUTO!

I decided to bump this thread to add pictures of one of the more hilarious variations: I present to you the "Secret Agent". Really surprised that James Bond and Jason Bourne might've used one of these. When I read that they actually made these cheap things labeled "Secret Agent" I had to find ...

If you have any Mikov's I'm interested in them; mainly looking for a used one and not the fancier varieties. PM with pics.

Re: Italian Switchblade Help Needed

It's italian, all Chinese origin ones I've seen can never do a flat grind that good; and have a poorer stamp on the tang.
