Re: Walt's 13" Picklocks

Great looking pieces! I am a bit confused by the two distinctly different marks of Renzo Pascotto on these knives. None of them looks like the usual mark he puts on his pieces, see picture below. These are more like signatures, but in two distinctive styles. One is "Pascotto Renzo", a common order f...

Re: I have been eyeing a 9" AB, ATS-34, Honey Horn, flat grind.

These haven't been available for some time. ATS-34 is the best stainless put into a production Italian switch. The price is not really all that bad. However, once you get it you may not want to use it as an EDC,

Re: Legalization

... as my understanding is that most law enforcement agencies are not interested in knives at all. This is probably very true. They have bigger fish to fry. However, if a law prohibiting carry is on the books, it provides a way to nail someone when there isn't enough evidence to make other charges ...

Re: Renzo Pascotto Collection

I have a couple RP's, and you are right, same as some AGA's. Seems the RP's usually have superior build quality and scales. That can be true but not always. As RP gets to take his pick, the ones with better scales would be chosen, but if the number of especially good scales exceeds his allotment, t...

Re: Renzo Pascotto Collection

Lucio is in the knife business. He provides scale materials to the various makers. Renzo Pascotto did not sell retail, so apparently Lucio and he had an agreement for Lucio to handle that end of things. The customers were both here and overseas. Renzo is nearing or in retirement as I understand it. ...

Re: Renzo Pascotto Collection

Where are the other two? Would love to see pics of them. Are they all different? Thom Yes, all the Deltas had different scales. Don't know who has the others, but as there were produced and sold in 2012/13, they could be anywhere at this point. I selected mine from a set of pictures of the then ava...

Mr. bennieJut,
You are replying to a 9 year old post. Maybe you didn't notice the original date, but this is not the first time you have replied to an ancient post. Is there nothing more current that interests you?

I would have put this into a PM, but you don't reply to those.
