AGA has not made any 11" Flatguards with kriss blade, they have made 13" Flatguards with kriss blade but not 11's (not yet anyway) , the pic you posted is a 13" kriss.

the larger 16" and 24" stiletto's Renzo Pascotto made have the screw for pivot , it is good for 2 reasons i know 1 is to tighten or loosen blade , 2 is you can remove blade entirely for shipping storage etc... you dont like the screw have a pin put in it easy peezy

one of the Greatest guitarist to walk this earth . very sad to hear of his passing , man i own every Van Halen record (on cd) also have around 7 or 8 Vinyl Records and few cassettes lol

it does look real good but burl wood why lol, burl wood is definetly not original or original material . also looks like pre-formed pins on handles too. me personally would have it re-scaled in brazilian , or ramshorn or even stag (sambar) if you can find it.

i could be wrong but if i remember correctly the Latama in a box stamp is the oldest or first stamp the factory used , second wave i think was ( Latama - Made in Italy) , 3rd stamp ( Latama-Italy)

yep there were like 300 made in 2003 and i was told over half of them had problems like bananna blade, spinal curve, weak springs etc... i had around 15 of the first run in 2003 bought them from tydy i still have 3 of them. tydy was cool never had problem with him he is ok.
