Re: Rizzuto Repair

That one looks pretty neat......for some reason I have a weak spot for white plastics. Reminds me of my early years in life when allmost every car had a white steeringwheel , white knops on the dash and kitchen knives had white handles.

Re: Latama 11inch pick lock 1950s

It's defenitely a golden era 50's picklock allthough I don't think it's a Latama. It lacks two of the specific Latama traits that being a fat backspring and a bevel near the searhole.

Re: Hellraiser

You're right. The hellraisers do have a kickspring and a folding guard. These As shown above) are spanish stiletto's, not branded and with a long pulling spring. It came in more varieties. The actual Hellraiser is a completely other design provided with a kickspring and a lock tab/backlock. A bit more Italian like in construction.

Re: Hellraiser

There is a very interesting type of spring in there....a long coil spring off about 2,5 inches in the handle. It pulls and keeps on pulling. For some reason I can't post pics anymore.

Re: Messer Sammlung

According to my son who is a ww2 collector....the handle on the S.A. dagger looks odd indeed, and there are many fraudelent copies running around. As a fact; the majority of them are forgeries.

Re: Messer Sammlung

Let me help you out I found this entire knife collection at work. I want to keep three or four of of them for myself, the rest goes up for sale. The thing is ,I would like some estimates on the knives because I haven"t the slightest idea about their value. There are some Bokers and Herbertz in there...
