I always thought that English was mandatory in Scandinavia, same as in my country (The Netherlands)? But are automatic knives legal over there or did it slipp through the cracks at one point? By the way.....nice catch.

That one looks pretty neat......for some reason I have a weak spot for white plastics. Reminds me of my early years in life when allmost every car had a white steeringwheel , white knops on the dash and kitchen knives had white handles.

It's defenitely a golden era 50's picklock allthough I don't think it's a Latama. It lacks two of the specific Latama traits that being a fat backspring and a bevel near the searhole.

You're right. The hellraisers do have a kickspring and a folding guard. These As shown above) are spanish stiletto's, not branded and with a long pulling spring. It came in more varieties. The actual Hellraiser is a completely other design provided with a kickspring and a lock tab/backlock. A bit more Italian like in construction.

There is a very interesting type of spring in there....a long coil spring off about 2,5 inches in the handle. It pulls and keeps on pulling. For some reason I can't post pics anymore.

According to my son who is a ww2 collector....the handle on the S.A. dagger looks odd indeed, and there are many fraudelent copies running around. As a fact; the majority of them are forgeries.
