Re: My new Stray Dog Frosolone

That's a sweet knife you got there. Ron does beautiful work-clean, tight, as decorative as you want, but never gaudy. I've been blessed with 14 of his creations so far, so, obviously, I'm a BIG fan. Two are Frosolone-styled-9" and 11" beauties. I SHAMELESSLY stole the idea from the guy who , I belie...

Re: Size Comparison

By all means, buy all you want, any size you want and enjoy. Share that pleasure with your other knife-collecting friends. But for your own sake, don't entertain notions that a 13" or any other size will strike fear in someone's heart. It might. Then they'll either call a cop and have you arrested o...

Re: My Friend Has A Switchbrain Too!

Great story, great connection to make, great old knife. I posted recently somewhere around here that a man should pick a favorite and carry it for the pleasure it gives him. The pleasure it will give his son or daughter one day will be even greater. We tend to have collections; our descendents will ...

I grieve for the unfortunate victims as I always grieve for victims of oppression. Why do people idly HOPE incidents like these won't be an excuse for some politician to further limit our freedoms? They ALWAYS DO. Some "asshole" didn't take away your right to self-defense; your elected officials, ac...

Re: Assisted opening bayo stiletto

I bought a shoebox full of the "Premium Milanos" last year and gave 'em away to everybody I couldn't afford to give autos to. Everybody was happy with them and they make decent, but flimsy, users. Fishing knife sounds about right. All mine had flat grind blades and my impression is that they need to...

I would; I'm pretty certain that Methamphetamine is not hallucinogenic.

Re: Niolox and titanium Cardo No Kami

Most of the knives on the various forums I see are for collecting. Your knives make me wish I had more stuff to cut. They seem to want to work, which is a knife's purpose. I hope you take this as a high compliment, which is what I intended. A knife that is a stout and reliable tool can also be a fri...

She's gorgeous! Her etching is a cut above many that I've seen. :o Very nice acquisition! Of course, I've always had a soft spot for Spanish ladies.

Re: new leverlock

Very nice. :) I nearly went broke buying those long, graceful Italians before I got a taste for something that actually looked like a pocketknife. I still favor buttons, but this style looks like something that should go in your pocket-kinda beefy-lookin' like you might actually USE it for something...

Re: 115w8 fixed blade test knife

A graceful, elegant knife. Well done, sir. The more I see of that blade shape, the more I like it. I'm sure it has many other uses, but I'd love to put one to work on a thick steak. In my opinion, a steak knife should be a surgical instrument (it's for cutting meat, right?), not a POS, dull-as-my-bu...
