No one knows knife wounds like those of us who are balisong practicioners. I have many many scars on my hands most not to bad but a few that are very visable and 2 on my feet (dont flip barefoot :? ). All I can say Is "Thank you Polysporin" :D

I've had my scallion for about 3 weeks now and yesterday i noticed rust spots on it. This really pissed me off. I carry it the same way I carry my Timberline Discovery and I've been carrying my Discovery for a year and have never had this problem and it too is bead blasted. I took out my flitz metal...

The black one isnt really black its a boon coat. Its more of a darkend clear coat. Kinda cool but i dont think its worth the extra money.

I dont care for either the blackout or whirlwind. For one the handle is to light and the action isn't fast at all. If you want a larger spring assist i suggest a Timberline Discovery. I've had mine for a year now and its still one of my favs. It is by far fastr then the whirlwind or blackout.

I ordered my scallion on June 9'th and it should be here in a few days. I love the look of those zytel handles slabs, they look like they have rain on them. I just loved the action of it that i had to go and buy one. It was to expencive at HOK so i ordered from PVK.

Check out the Benchmade 3200 Mini-Mel Pardue Auto (http://www.benchmade.com/images/product ... p/3200.jpg) its a very nice little auto. A little more the $100 but thats Benchmades price so im sure available for much less elsewhere.
