boots wrote: Thu Jan 26, 2023 2:20 am That's an impressive collection, I couldn't fill one shelf. Thanks for the eye candy!
Thank you!
Took me about 10 years to collect, and i haven't bought anything for the collection for the past ten years.
There are some from Rick in there. I gave the blades a polish with a dremel.

Re: Commemorative Switch to Honor Rick Giroux

He would have loved it i'm sure, make it not too expensive so it will be in range for the smaller budget too.
Great idea.
I'm thinking of a 9" F.B. swinger or Pick engraved "Rick “Switch” Giroux"

Re: Update collection pics.

You hit the nail on the head, Blademan! I, too, believe that every serious collector should have at least one Microtech in their collection. We have expensive addictions and tastes, or else we would not have this hobby. By the way, what can I call you, besides "Blademan"?? :D Haha my real name is E...

Re: Update collection pics.

Nice one! quality is outstanding on these OTF's.
Mine takes some strength in the hands to get the blade back in,
i don't know if this is the case with all Makora's but i don't mind, it's a unique piece i think every serious
collector should own one Microtech OTF at least. ;)

Wonderful display, looks like something that could be in a museum, or a public display. Mine have all become a little cluttered looking. Hmmmph, after seeing this I realize that mine are well over due for some reorganizing. Thank you for the inspiration! Thank you, ..i started with some knifes in a...
