Could be that these modern thick knifes are even better in quality then the vintage ones,
i can't really say because i never held a vintage in my hands.
I own several Walt's but no Sam Polk.

..yes, i'm in Europe and born in 1966, as far as i know the name Erik was very fashionable back then.
Would love to have a Rizutto some day, never seen them over here, i order my stuff from the makers directly in Italy
but they don't sell Rizutto's as far as i know.
