9" versions in genuine wood and stag. Although these drop the "Samsend" brand and just say "Italy". But they're obviously coming off the same production line.

Re: "Samsend" Swinguards
I agree. These are probably not on par with the quality of a Latama . . . . but they are $25 and readily available.
I've been in the switchblade collecting hobby for 20 years and have never even SEEN a real Latama knife (in my area anyway).

"Samsend" Swinguards
It's been quite a while since posting. Mostly because traditional switchblades (my main interest) are almost non-existent here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. However, I recently acquired these "Samsend" branded 10" swingaurds and wanted to post some picts. Don't know what eastern country they hail f...

Calibro numbers question
Just picked up this Calibro shellpuller at a gun show. I thought the scales were really nice. There's "Calibro" and the numbers "16" and "12" on either side of the bolsters. Was curious what these numbers represent? http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/af84/chakotay2/calibro4.jpg http://i996.photobuck...

Re: Anyone have a swing guard in the Dallas area?
Hey guys. That is correct. Texas just made them legal. But I want to stay as legal as possible; I don't see how I can order a knife from an online website and have it sent to me without breaking some federal law. So I'm trying to keep my purchases in-state and not have my name on some dealers shippi...

Anyone have a swing guard in the Dallas area?

I'm gonna need a bigger display case!
My collection so far! I finally have enough knives to warrant a public display. I built this case from scratch (I liken myself an amateur woodworker.) The knives are suspended by one of those magnetic bars sold for storing tools covered with velvet. The acrylic cover slides and locks for easy access...

Thanks Saverio! I was also wondering what the "310" on the tang means?

New Boker Leverlock
Hit the gunshow this weekend and picked up a new one. Not sure exactly what model this is, but it‘s brand-new with micarta scales. I thought I read somewhere on the web they weren’t making these anymore? Good enough excuse to grab one. It’s a beautiful knife. Everything is still very tight on it and...

New (or is it old?) swinguard: What do I have here?
Scored another! Although I’m not sure what it is. Is it German maybe? The blade seems short in relation to the handle. It looks like they could have squeezed another half inch of blade length in there. It's in real good condition. Strong spring, working safety, no blade peak, and straight as an arro...
