Re: Some updated family portraits

On the far left in the pic, you have a light horn kris with a red dot. What brand is it? Seems to be rare to find a 9'' with a red dot, unless it's a flatguard. ...Just curious.

Late 90's BM with wood scales?

Back in the late 90's, I remember looking through a Benchmade catalogue and seeing a Bali with, If I remember correctly, rosewood scales. It was pricey, like $350-400 I think. What model was this? The knife was stunning; I almost bought it (wish I did). Settled for a model 42, but wish I had ordered...

Frank B/ Slojoe Ltd editions

Here are a couple Ltd edition FB/Slojoe stilettos from the 30 piece run done at the end of 2010. The abalone is #11, and the Brazilian is # 27 (I believe that John has #28 and Java has #29). The buffalo horn swinger is #39 in the 40 piece swinguard run they did as well. [img]http://i1102.photobucket...

Re: How they actually work

Wow, ever thought about buying a kit knife? Would they ship a 'bunch of knife parts' to Australia? If you wanted to construct a switchblade, I'd consult with Bill DeShives.
