I'm not sure quite I follow. what part is generic? the tang stamp or blade stamp? both? its seems rare to find one that has made in germany on the rear tang with that scheff on the blade . have you seen others with this configuration? I am very curious. thanks for any info

I just read a review for the upcoming (6/3/14) USA blu-ray release of The Outsiders: Complete Novel. Luckily the reviewer loves this still as much as the switchblade fans do it seems. Here it is, in more detail than I have ever seen. A user claimed there was a horizontal marking SCH... on the blade...

thanks gunner, Wasn't that cool to finally figure out what scales his had and why they looked that way? this is a hard knife to figure out. I've seen ones with proper blade but wrong scales and shellpullers. I've seen ones with proper scales but wrong blade and wrong shellpullers. this thing is a mystery.

so what is the exact description of the johnny cade knife??? someone please define this. I believe it to be a springer shellpuller but exact type and year is unkown to me. CALLING ALL EXPERTS!!!
