I do not own a "button open, button close" switchblade, but they don't seem very common. Why not? Is it significantly more difficult to manufacture these as opposed to a picklock, lever lock or swivel bolster switchblade? It seems to me that they should be more popular. What are your thoughts?

Re: Auto conversion question
I am not familiar with the knife you noted and whether or not it has a milled area for the spring. It may if there is an automatic version of it. If it does not, you would need access to the necessary equipment, i.e. a milling machine to do so. There are much more knowledgeable members here who can ...

Re: Was there a real NATO out the front?
I have a Bell brand auto OTF somewhere in one of my boxes. It is a single edge and I remember trying to sharpen the other edge maybe 40 or more years ago and really hacked it up. Young and foolish I guess.

The rules here won't permit me to post links, but there are a great number of switchblade enthusiasts at the social media site with the initials FB. Many automatic stiletto enthusiasts pages with buying, selling, trading and discussion of the type of knife you are interested in.

Re: Nothing to see here anymore
I've been a member of these forums for a couple of years and I don't think that I have reached the 20 post minimum yet. I find I just don't have a lot to add but read mainly to learn things about knives. I'm not complaining about the rule but just explaining. Maybe this post will put me above the mi...

Re: Walther-SOK-2-Spring-Operated-Knife
It appears as if the grey button opens the knife and the lever unlocks it for closing. Am I correct?

Small Hubertus Spring Replacement
A question, mostly for Bill: I have a couple of the small Hubertus springers and one is my daily carry. Both are in excellent shape, but I was wondering if the internal firing spring breaks on one of them, can I replace it myself sort of like a Mikov and without disassembly? If so, is there a source...
