Re: Good Stag vs Bad?
Sure there’s personal preference but there’s definitely some great and some crap out there. My preference (on a pocket knife) is that both sides must be matched in shape and texture. Smooth or gnarly, don’t care. Fat in the middle or bowed, don’t care. I want to see that at least some effort was mad...

As a teenager I used to wish for a way to get them but this was long before the internet. Finally, in the mid eighties, the Edge Co. came...

Nice knives. Great pic of the backsprings. Are they 3mm (or more) thick?

Re: Could someone explain the lack of enthusiasm?
If I’m looking at the original post correctly - in that the OP is wondering why the folks on this forum aren’t too hyped about modern American automatics - I’d have to guess that the membership here is mostly not the market for those knives. I love knives, I love automatic knives and I acquire knive...

Re: Any input on the New Buck 110 Autos?
Just got one of these and it is exactly what you’d think it is. Opens with authority and locks up tight. The leather sheath has an extra piece of leather inside, up against the back of the snap. Overall, Very nicely done. I had one of the early conversions. I never used it for anything but it was al...

Re: Hubertus leverlocks as EDC ?
EDC a Hubertus?
Definitely. It's a pocketknife though so, use accordingly. I won't recount it in this post but my Hubertus carry story is detailed pretty well in the 'Hubertus Safari Club' thread. I'd say give it a shot.
