Re: Blade Show pictures and happenings.

Bob and Dick chatting up Samantha about the new Paragon EDC side opener. I think they were actually interested in the knife.
I'll lay odds that neither one of them can recall what that knife looked like, or even what kind it was!! But I'll bet they can give a very good description
of the girl!

Bill I have a lesson 2(Knife 101) question.

I'm about ready to make an order to one of the supply houses and I have a material question. On the list of materials you have .020 or less nickel listed. Is this supposed to be for the lever spring cover? Also do you happen to have a picture of a "Sigfreid" that is torn down? I would like to see a ...

Couple of liner questions

I have one of my el cheapo 9" stilletto's torn apart and the liner is .030. Is this about the same as a Italian model? Also do the liners on the longer knives get thicker? I have a 13" AKC and the liners don't look much bigger than the .030 liners from my cheap knife. That leads to my last question....

Re: Mikov spring question.

I understand what your saying about people talking up their product. I've always heard people talking about "spring steel" and looking at the slim profile of the Mikov springs I thought there might be a higher grade steel that they used. One other thing that got me to thinking about it was that I wa...

Mikov spring question.

I was checking out my Mikov kit today and I am still amazed that a pair of rather dainty looking springs can supply the force that they do. Are they made out of a high quality spring steel? Or do they just do a good gob of heat treating and tempering? I know that they sell spare springs, but with al...

Inox on the blade?

I found out that Inox means stainless in french. Is there a specific maker or company who marks their blades "Inox"? Or are these just mass produced blades that are used by multiple makers/company's. Anyway I figure in another ten or fifteen years I might have all this Switchblade stuff figured out....

Need some info on this knife.

The knife looks like it might be pretty old. I have looked thru the auctions and haven't been able to ID it. It's got Germany on the blade is this a Hubertus? I would like to know what brand it is and how old it might be. And how much is it worth? It looks to be in pretty good condition. Thanks Tim ...
