Great idea Missaman, I think we shall offer specials on those side sights at our shop. P.S. Randy don't forget muzzle loading season begins on the 16th down here on the sandbar. Also the Savage smokeless muzzleloader is approved for hunting here in Maryland! We have been selling them as fast as we g...

You fellas sure know a good bit about rock locks, but did you know that a flintlock that is properly tuned will reliably fire upside down. Yes they can be that fast!
My question- Which is a better quality flint, a Brandon Black or a French Amber?

Good evening Missaman and TalkBlade family, Yes, the weather and the light has been wonderful down here on the sandbar. It must be due in part to the hurricanes and of course the changing of the seasons. Son Willy and myself got up early and went down to the local farm pond, Willy paddled out and pl...

Good morning Mr Vagrant,
Frank B's "Switch Model" has bolsters made from Zn+Al+Mg alloy. Would this be considered as "Pot" metal?

All the best Al,

Good Morning Bleeding M, I started shaving with a straight razor in 1964, I learned from my father and grandfather. I truely believe the biggest secret to a close comfortable shave is beard preperation. One needs to wash ones face very well with a good terry cloth towel and bar soap. This cleans the...

Good evening guys, I personaly wish the stiletto manufacturers would not "Sharpen" the blades at all. My reasons for saying this is that the grind on the individual blade sides are not always evenly done, more is ground off on one side than the other. I have taken the clamps from two Lansky kits and...

Why is the Spyderfly not easily available?

Good evening guys, I've been waiting patiently for the Spyderfly to arrive in quantity, I'm still waiting. Does anyone know why it is taking so long for a production line knife to get into full production? Yes I know there are individual Spyderflys knives coming available now and then for double the...

Hello Wally,
I feel for you, it's awfully quiet without PB. I kind of feel like a part of my life has been amputated, and it should be there when I look for it , it isn't. I'm sure its 1000% worse for you.

Totally bummed out about this,
Sam

Good evening guys, As to what knife? I've heard PB mention on several occasions he really liked a 11" flat grind switch with acrylic scales to carry. I kind of think it was the only "Classic style" Italian switch stiletto he kept around as a user. I think the rest were his collectables. I am sure th...
