Good evening Mr Boker and Mr Vagrant, I have my Camillus aircrew survival knife in front of me as I write this. I presume you mean a 5" bowie type blade with serrations on the spine a stacked leather washer handle with a flat square guard and a hex nut pommel. The blade is phosphate coated, the top ...

Good morning Jim,
If Missaman can handle any situations on the Western Shore, Should you desire, I'll do what I can to keep things on a steady keel here on the Eastern Shore. I'm sure Missaman will vouch for that.

Good morning Jagman, Robert Lee Oates aka Bob Oates was a collector, restorer, Guru of the XK-150 Jags. He lived in Scott Depot, W. Virginia near Charleston. He was a very good pal of mine and passed away last year with Cancer. I thought because you are in the Jaguar and motorcar business there was ...

Good morning Natcherly, I've heard of that idea of a more serious wound caused by a Kris style blade. I don't know what is the answer. I wouldn't be surprised if it were not a marketing ploy by some cutler back in the mist of time to increase sales of his edged wares when the sales of straight blade...

Unrelated question; Did you ever know Bob Oates from West Virginia?

My floppy orange handled Camillus was issued to me in 1971. I carried it in my flight suit with the shroud line hook open. Our Nomex flight suits had a long pocket made for it on the inside of our right leg just below our crotch. The pocket had a flap cover with a snap and a gromet to attach the kni...

Good evening Randy,
Working off a cobwebby memory, and without serious research I believe the correct holster would be in brown leather, slim in profile with a flap marked U.S. in an oval with a strap and buckle for a leg tie down.
I think
