Re: Storing blade open...
Will the weight of the handle keep the blade elevated when the knife is rested on its side? I'm assuming gravity wont be strong enough to droop the blade over time. I have no case for it, so it may need to find a home on my shelf for a while when not in use for extended periods. I'm still on day one...

Storing blade open...
I just got a new frank b. olivewood 11" swivel bolster stiletto, and I'm in love. I've read that it can be stored either open or closed, but the consensus is that its probably best stored open for longer periods of time. If stored open, how do you lay the blade down so that it doesn't "off-center" o...

Re: Keychain Stiletto?
hank- im about to turn 26
tr4252- I agree.. I have since abandoned the desire for the keychain and am currently toying with the idea of purchasing a real frank b [i've always wanted one].
Im hunting for a new FB 11" olivewood bayonet hopefully around the $50 USD price range.. so far no luck though.

Re: Am I being unrealistic?
this purchase is more fascination motivated rather than self defense..
but like I said, the fact that it can be used for self defense makes the purchase seem more justifiable in my mind.

Am I being unrealistic?
It's my first time buying any knife.. and I want this one to be a winner-- I'm in love with stilettos, and would LOVE an unused 11" Frank B. Olivewood Bayonet Picklock with a matching tan leather sheath-- but I'm not rich, nor a collector either [obviously] In reality, I'm trying to keep the knife i...

Re: Keychain Stiletto?
This site makes it a point to note multiple times that they are "very sharp": http://www.shop.hurricanedeckcutlery.com/product.sc;jsessionid=2E1A9C018762A09A57DF7B013D13419D.qscstrfrnt01?categoryId=1&productId=3115 Do you think they're describing the product accurately or just trying to sell a novel...

Keychain Stiletto?
I've always wanted a stiletto... and I'm still yearning for the day I can comfortably afford a frank b. picklock.. but in the meantime... I found a few keychain stilettos that are "made in Italy"-- has anyone had any experience with these? I had my eye on this one: http://www.myswitchblade.com/Itali...
