Re: Another World

Thanks for the link. It's so cool that we have the technology to watch these creatures in their nests. I've always loved watching hawks, but having the views into these eagles' nests is mindblowing.

Re: Another World

When I said they, I meant the school discovered another nest. I asked my kids about it and neither one knew exactly where the new nest is located. It is supposedly in a very remote area of campus and was discovered by a couple of former students who now work for the state dept of natural resources. ...

Re: what is the best

It all depends on personal taste and intended use, but if I had the money to spend, I would get a Severtech, then probably pay somebody to regrind it, as I'm not a big fan of tanto blades. I saw one listed on BladeForums for $600 a couple weeks ago.

Re: BSA

I really don't give a darn what people do. I only wish the children of the world and myself didn't have to be subject to seeing it on television or in public places. Affection,no matter between man or woman or otherwise should be done in private. I agree. I am no Bible scholar but somewhere it says...

Re: Replacement Spring

I think a toaster oven works just fine too. We replaced one a few weeks ago, and I wouldn't let my wife throw out the old one. One of these days I will make blades and springs from scratch instead of just mangling factory knives.

Re: BSA

I think this is one of those things that people make a bigger deal about than is necessary. A little common sense would go a long way towards making this a non-issue. If I took my son to sign up for a scout troop and I was uncomfortable with the scout leader, we would leave and find another troop, r...

Did he really dope? I understand he may have had his own blood extracted and then the red cells concentrated. This would allow a higher hemoglobin content to carry oxygen. Now; is that really cheating? Probably by the letter of the rules; yes. Is everyone doing it? Probably. My view of pro sports i...

Re: Gun and Knife shows in Ga. coming up.

I was thinking about checking out the one in Cartersville when I realized Feb. 4 and 5 is a Monday and Tuesday. That link is for the 2012 calendar

Here is a current calendar. http://www.gunshows-usa.com/

Even better. There is a show 20 minutes from me this weekend I didn't know about.

According to Connecticut Sate Police, he used a Bushmaster AR-15 for most of the killing and one of the pistols to kill himself. They found a shot gun in his car. http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/335752/lanza-s-weapons-robert-verbruggen# I think I read that the AR-15 he used would not have been ...
