Re: Computer Question

I had used a couple of cable splitters (kind of like pictured below) in series to run cable to the room where I had my router and 2 other TV's. Kind of like plugging an extension cord with extra outlets into another extension cord with multiple outlets. I guess it weakened the signal too much. But i...

Re: Kala Marie Golden Schuchardt

Spike Lee and the guy who painted this are scum. Regardless of the outcome of the trial, George Zimmerman's life is ruined. It's a tragedy for everyone involved, and irresponsible idiots are making it much much worse.

so true.

The way the media has treated the Trayvon Martin case is shameful. Definitely irresponsible. Maybe even criminal. All for the sake of boosting ratings.

Re: Computer Question

They provide me a modem basically that the internet comes into. I then had to get my own wireless router to go out from that. So you can buy whatever wireless router you want, and hook it up to the internet that your buying. Thats how mine is set up as well. The Comcast router is not wireless. Once...

Re: Computer Question

You may need to call Comcast. I've found their customer service to be very knowledgable and helpful, if you are able to get through interminable waits and a maze of options to actually get to a human being. They keep sending me notices that my router needs to be swapped out for a new one, but I just...

Re: Tactical Tomahawk

RMJ hawks are awesome. Definitely on my wish list. He also hand forges beautiful (and expensive) pipe hawks. Even though I love hatchets, I never cared too much about tomahawks until I saw this video and realized how versatile they really are: http://youtu.be/6pvv97vPLHk And they are a lot of fun to...

Welcome! I really like the stuff you've done for Boker, but I didn't know you also had a Spyderco and a TOPS design as well. I'd be interested to know if you've ever designed an automatic, or if you may have anything in the works? Boker has a few that are available, or at least easily converted to a...

Re: Are You Kidding Me

Well here I am to play devil's advocate again! The Obama flag is not an American flag. Sure, it is inspired by the American flag. Sure, it is tacky and in poor taste. Sure, the Democrat headquarters that flew it made a stupid mistake by doing so. And sure, we all have the right to be offended by it....

Re: Buying Autos Online

I don't live in Arkansas and do not know any dealers in Arkansas except A.G. Russell, who I do not believe sells any switchblades. I respect the fact that you are attempting to purchase legally and am not advocating that you break any laws, however idiotic those seldom-enforced laws may be. But my s...

Re: Constitution Trampled

trouble is the ones running on the GOP aren't much better. :( :( 100% agree. I bet we won't be able to tell much difference between the America we are left with after 4 years of Romney than we can after 4 years of Obama. To me, the Democrats and Republicans are just 2 sides of the same coin. They b...

Same here. But with some of the knives I carry, this is fairly common. And I don't normally hand someone a knife that is already open either.

Re: Switchblade question

I think JerrBear nailed it with his post about the stabbiness of an Italian stiletto. They are generally stabbers, not slicers. The bayonet, dagger and kris blades are better suited for that, and to me seem most natural on Italian style knives. Most of the focus on this site and SD are for vintage I...
