Anyone willing to part with a Medici Swinguard?
Gentleman,
I am looking for a Medici swinguard in great condition. Love how they look! Anyone have one they'd be willing to part with? Please PM if so.

Recommend a Sharpening System for a novice?
Hey Vagrant,
I'm starting to amass quite the knife collection and was wondering if you could recommend a reasonably priced sharpening system for a novice knife sharpener like myself? What about the Lansky system?

Re: The Okapi Ratchet Knife - Question
Found another Okapi deal! A site called Wild Boar Blades. They have 'em for $10 a piece, cheaper than World Knives. I decided to call in my order, which the owner Ray graciously took despite the fact that he was in the middle of a gun show. He went from his room in the hotel down to his booth to get...

Re: The Okapi Ratchet Knife - Question
Very cool Crypto!! I don't know if I'm that handy; I might have to try attacking it with the file instead. You should offer to sell some "customized" Okapis. I'd buy one!

Crypto, but you're still opening it by holding the blade right, not the handle? I'm thinking of filing down some teeth.

Re: The Okapi Ratchet Knife - Question
Jarvis, just found your knife. Few different blade styles, one of 'em has the Okapi humpback blade too.

Re: The Okapi Ratchet Knife - Question
Hey Jarvis, that looks like a Corsican knife. Sometimes it's called a "vendetta" knife. Although when I hear "Corsican Vendetta", I picture that long, slender, folder. Seems there's two styles that get called "vendetta". That little head with headband is on Corsica's territorial collectivity flag. H...

Re: The Okapi Ratchet Knife - Question
Yeah, he did say shipping to Canada was slow, which is odd, because I've received stuff from the States before in under two weeks on average. Hmmm.
