Agreed it is Italian. Back bolster looks lined, so 1970s to 80s is a guess so far....More pictures would help....

Arlen I think the answer to your question is the Last picture was correctly hammered when the blade pin was set, and the one above it was hammered in a way that slightly deformed the back top bolster which caused it to slightly cover the brass liner more so then the one above. I see no signs of sold...

Asian Kit knife. This one is a bit hard as Italy did make a few low end ones that were also kit knives, but this has an Asian look to me. Bill D ??

Agreed with Bill and Jeremy. All the 15" and 18" are made this way. They still hold some of the old time quality traits.....
