Here's a different one... it's a "hunter" or "camper" pattern with ringpull release, shellpullers and a bail.. its a nicely built knife, tight with a hard kicking 2 piece spring. New knives just don't have scales as nice as the old ones... horn or stag.. but as far as the yellow, I believe it was originally more of a cream color almost white and it yellowed like that with age.

The seller's logic was that someone more recently rescaled it and I suppose he assumed they used the Buffalo horn because it is easier to get than green cow horn.
