Re: alphabetized list of Switchblades in Films
Just saw "song of the thin man" last night...looked like a clip point blade, but couldn't really see the handle...I'm thinking it was an American knife...can anyone confirm what it was?

Re: Ab cotellerie catalog/brochure
JV and OB-- thanks for the info and the links...of the three catalogs shown, I have the AB catalog/brochure (not the FB, or the one on the mini blades)...it appears there were multiple bidders, so clearly, there is some interest... I'll see if I can take some pics from my catalog/brochure, and hopef...

Ab cotellerie catalog/brochure
hey guys: I could swear I saw an AB/SKM catalog or brochure up for sale on one of the recent auctions somewhere, but now I can't find it...was hoping the members here might be able to shed some light... I've got two of them (both about 9-10 years old) that I've treasured...actually, I had the main p...

Re: WTB: Kriss Walts flatguard and FB Flatguards
I sent a PM, but am not sure if I executed correctly and/or if you acutally received it...but I do have one from the first run of the 5mm Walt Flatguards...french tip horn, flat button, (but not a KRISS blade), 11 inch, virtually brand new still in the wooden display box, has the cat logo, unsharpen...

Re: rizzuto estileto milano
Well almost three years ago I inquired in this thread about my neighbor's Rizzy... a black 9"er like the one pictured in the begining of the thread...only this one needs some work...the button doesn't fire, the saftey is broken, and the knife needs a rubber band to keep it closed...when opened, it l...

Re: Movie Switchblades
Saw a tasty, old one (1952) the other day...glen ford and rita hayworth, "affair in trinidad"...one of the villan's henchmen attacks Ford with a switch...Ford takes it away from him and the later presents it to the villan...I'm thinking it was Schrade, Press Button — maybe something like that or sim...

Re: Movie Switchblades
I'll see if I can translate a bit of heviarti's post (above), in hopes someone can identify the swtichblade that was in last night's episode of NCIS. Agent Gibbs (Mark Harmon) gives his boss, Director Vance, a switchblade so that Vance can protect himself while in a hospital bed. When asked by Vance...

Re: New "Extra Thick" Stiletto???
Although I'm hardly a collector, am awestruck by some of the assemblages I've seen, where for some reason, there is a definitive leaning towards picklocks as being "better" than the modern swivel bolsters. If this is the case, why so, and what makes them more desireable? Also, there's been this disc...
