But saying worth every penny to a cheap bali might not be a good expression. A bali thats worth 20 bucks, isnt a good bali IMO.

Yes, they can be used for a latchless latchdrop between the thumb an pointer finger. They are spyder holes, almost all spyerco knives have at least one to help with opening the knife.
