The 41MC and its heavier sister the 41SS are both good knives. Some people mentioned some quality control problems with the 41's, but I didn't see them (then again I don't look as closely as some others). I did read somewhere about a re-release of the 41SS which originally had a run of 500. As for M...

This is an awesome knife. It flips really smoothly and the new spring latch is a work of art. The anodized (and jeweled) liners really add to the knife along with the anodized and laser engraved pocket clip. The G10 has good texture to it and if I'm not mistaken this is the first BM bali made in san...

The first bali I ever bought was a Benchmade with skeletonized black zamak handles (don't know the model number). I bought it back in '92 for $15 and gave it to a friend for his graduation. Fast forward to Jan '01 where I bought the first bali for myself which was a BM43. Never handled a jag or CCC ...

most balisongs use a t8 for the pivots and a t6 for latch or anything else This has been my experience as well. They are definitely "torx type" screws (some trademark/copyright deal prevents them from being referred to as "Torx"), and 5.0 is right about the blue box--it sucks. See this thread: http...

so i guess BM is the buest out of the Dragonfly, BM, and Arc Angel? I have not handled an ArcAngel so I can't comment on that. I own a Tach and a BM and I'd have to say that the Tach is a lot smoother than the BM, but I prefer the rounder handles of the BM for flipping. The Tach/Dragonfly is going ...
