Waya,

Looks like you may be onto a good thing with this idea. Adding to the list: The Knife Guy, and Mr. Knifeguy (two separate ententies). To the best of my knowledge, The Knife Guy doesn't do business on BA, just his web site, but I'd recommend either of the above.

Switch67,

Thanks for sharing more photos of your extensive collection. And great photography, btw. May I enquire what type camera you use, and are you using a separate lighting set-up?

Switch-Itch is incurable. Just get used to it. Kicking heroin, crack cocaine and tobacco are relatively easy, compared to the af-FLICK-tion of collecting auto knives. Yes, toys like crossbows and swords can temporarily alleviate the symptoms, but the true addict will always find there is no substitu...

I really have no beef with clones...as long as it is being correctly advertised. There's some clones of very expensive knives that are decent copies of the originals, but using less expensive materials. Selling clone knives also helps me financially off-set my own appetite for expensive switches. I'...

This forum has, in itself, been the education I needed in order to make informed bids/purchases on BA. It was here that I learned a "Milano" is NOT Italian, and not worth the effort of typing in a bid. Even so, I've been burned a couple of times. Most notably, a couple of BenchMade clones that were ...

Mr. The Falcon, First, let me congratulate you upon acquiring your Godfather...my rather plain pewter/G-10 (only as compared to some of the wild color variations of the GF being offered now) is still one of my favorite knives. It is also the knife I will produce and demostrate to answer peoples' que...

Kydex Sheaths

The larger stilettos are impractical for pocket carry. Drove to the store the other day with one of the new 15" knives in my pocket, but left it in the truck. It was just too obvious that I had something large in my pocket ;) A Kydex sheath, say with a shoulder harness arrangement, would make it muc...

I turned 50 in August. And as my erstwhile girlfriend will attest, I remain very much a child at heart. And what's wrong with that? Okay, I spend way too much money on things like switchblade knives, swords, R/C planes, air guns, and other fun toys...so what? I'm as responsible as I need to be: meet...

JerrBear, That's okay...the black helicopters are descending upon your secret mountain laboratory even now. Don't worry, though...they have intructions to leave your switchblade collection alone. In the interests of national security, the combat camels will be commandeered for an urgent operation. W...

JerrBear,

Regarding your racing/combat camel: I view this alleged beast with some alarm...is it a product of recombinant DNA engineering? And if so, will you be breeding it soon? Very interested in purchasing one, preferably one which spits hydroflouric acid and knows Kung-Fu.

I've had my 2nd 15" switch a few days now. It's a black acrylic scale bayo from BA. That sort of brings me full circle...my first Italian stilettos switches were a pair of bayo black acrylic 11"-ers I ordered from AB back in March. I've always liked the contrast of high-gloss black and chrome...or p...

yeah...sex, beer, and rock'n'roll. Hrm, doesn't have quite the same ring to it. Okay, how's about: thankful to live in a free culture where holding a beauty pageant doesn't spark riots that kill hundreds? And thankful that there are those among us who are vigilant in protecting those freedoms...ah, ...

Hope you all have a good Thanksgiving. I am thankful for the Internet, without which I'd never have stumbled across this wonderful and fascinating hobby. I have a lot of other things to be thankful for, too.

patnude,

no, actually I don't have any of Cold Steel's knives yet, but have some of their other toys...sjamboks in all three sizes, the Bad-Axe, and the Spetsnaz shovel. I'll likely end up with some of their spears, too.
