Re: How does F. Beltrame now mark his knives

That's true with mine also, the marking is so light I can hardly see it, even in bright light. I , also, wish he would have a classy stamp.

Re: How does F. Beltrame now mark his knives

Jules, Mine looks identical to yours except that it is marked "Milano". It has the nail-nick and the pivot pin is not a screw. I can't remember just where I picked that one up, may have been at a Idaho Gun Show. I don't care much for the appearance of the knife since the blade isn't the stilleto sty...

Re: How does F. Beltrame now mark his knives

Attached is a display cabinet with the subject knives. I would have to open and remove them to answer further details, which I can do if necessary, but I think JulesVanes' link may answer the question: " 1996 to 2004 Frank used Stiletto Italy (AB Cutlery in 1996 also used Stiletto Italy. So, it is d...

How does F. Beltrame now mark his knives

I have several knives I purchased from Frank Beltrame, through his website. I actually had some questions about the order so called and talked to Frank via phone. When I received the knives I was surprised that I didn't see his name on the blades of the knives. Most knives are marked "Stilleto Italy...

I was really bummed when I turned 30 and 40. 50 and 60 were actually easier. Pushing buttons has gotten pretty hard to do so I put my knives on the floor and step on 'em. The "Gray" Falcon Oh, maybe that's why I'm having a hard time with these buttons on my new knives, I was 2yrs old in 1945...

Bill, I had a friend pick this one up for me when he went to Italy in about 1964. I wanted a stiletto, but my friend thought this was, either a stiletto or that it was kool. At any rate he brought this one back for me... to my disappointment. Although I don't care much for the knife, I have resisted...

Assault Rifles - Calif

Dan-O, I heard the othe day that once guns were "registered" in CA. and once assault rifles were banned, that they actually picked up the assault rifles that were registered. Is that true? We always said, from day one, that if we register our guns, it will just show them were to go to confiscate the...

OTF Knife Identification

Is anyone familiar with an OTF knife with the follwing markings... The blade is marked: Rostfrei, BONSA, and Solingen. At the base of the blade it is marked with D.B.G.M. The handle is all chrome, and the spring sucks! I suppose that it could be reworked to provide a decent spring action, but I'm no...
