Squirt it full of WD 40 and flush it out. Pull on the ring while doing so. It should close, but there is something in the mechanism binding it.

Videos of disassembly of customers' knives will be helpful. I can actually show them everything that is wrong before the work is done.

Here are my three, two for sure, the kriss I have been told is Latama and has the patent number on the back tang. 7",8" & 11"
