Re: (4) broken vintage knives
It's a hit/miss proposition.
I have had blades from the same maker be so far off as to be unusable.
It's possible the dealer would let you return it if it doesn't work.
You would have to just send it to me and let me see if I can find/fit a blade.

Re: (4) broken vintage knives
There are some French catalogs on billdeshivs.com
They were probably not of much interest to US importers before the ban. Seems most have come in since the 1970s, as they were still legal to swell in France.
Most of the blade peek can be addressed by just tightening the pivot screw- unless someone ...

The large lever knife is French, made in the city of Thiers. They were made into the 1970s, I believe.
The German shellpuller appears to have been made by Anton Wingen.

Re: Old Springer I D $150
I don't know that the "O" stands for Olbertz. It may, but I have a bunch of Klaas autos and a couple of Olbertz autos.
None of the blades have an "O" on them.
I do know that Olbertz has been an OEM for many different brands. I have some evidence they made the Klaas lever locks, but "some" evidence ...

Re: Old Springer I D
Robert Klaas, or possibly Olbertz.
Made for England or Canada.
Not sure if Klaas actually made thes knives, or if they were made for Klaas by Olbertz. My bet is the latter.

Today I made a spring for an 8" coil spring stiletto, Repaired the sear on an 11" Latama, repaired another 11" Latama with bent backspring, made safety cap, sear adjustment, worked on a couple of personal knife projects, did billing, made dinner. Not necessarily in that order.
