I believe Mr. Arthas (or someone from AB/SKM) said they would be about $200 buck dollars... Ah yes, this was mentioned at the beginning of the forged thread...sounds like it will end up coming in at right around this price. This seems reasonable as the pics of the prototype look really nice. The Pi...

How in the world can these knives cost so much? I agree these look nice, but aluminum and ABS scales are cheap to manufacture - e.g. you can buy a solid built aluminum boker magnum for $25 retail. I own a couple Leverlettos and they are sweet, but to charge 2-3 times the price for almuminum scales?!...

Well, I got my knives today! :D I'm actually surprized by the quality of this UTX clone. It is quite good. Definately fills the niche for me at a lot less cost than the Microtech. This clone even copies the logo (claw), serial numbers and everything! I didn't think this was allowed... Anyway, I am a...

You will even find yourself checking the mailbox multiple times a day or even looking out the window looking for the mailman every time you hear a car go down the road anticipating that new knife! LOL - I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that does this. I don't have to run to the window eve...

Yes, I have ordered from Stu before and his prices are very good. I do enjoy ordering from a variety of places though, in part because of the fun I have had meeting the people along the way. I have had some very entertaining phone conversations with many on this forum in the course of ordering stuff...

Vagrant is right, a bad ones list is a bad idea. Look at what happens when someone posts about one bad transaction. Next thing we know, the other party is here and there is a big fight going on between them that does not belong on the forum, but privately off-line. I can only imagine what would hap...

Grim, Yeah, their prices are a bit high but shipping is free so the difference is not that much (especially on low end stuff). I thought I would try out what appears to be their UTX clone as they are the only ones I found that had a similar product (the picture actually looks like a real microtech)....

Well, I won't get them today but I *did* get a reply with a delivery confirmation number today so no more worries! :D I think this whole thing can probably be chaulked up to bad timing (due to the strange coincidence that when I finally decided to follow up on things the site just happened to be dow...

Whippersnapper, you are indeed correct - the site is back online today (must have been technical difficulties or upgrades). I was also able to send an email through successfully this time as well. I'll post an update when I know something...

The one I got has OFW marked on the blade. It has a green handle. Also, it doesn't have the notch in the blade like some of the pictures show for locking the blade in the closed position. Rather, there is more of what I would describe as 'ground area' where this would be. It also has pinned scales a...

Whippersnapper, thanks for the suggestion. I did do that but I was unable to find much about this seller or a bad one's list (perhaps I simply didn't use the right seach string). Even so, I wouldn't expect the archives to have info on the sight recently dissappearing (it has certainly been up all su...

I recently got one from Cope's as well based on recommendations from this forum. Shipping was real fast, but mine wobbles quite a bit also.

Is there a Bad Ones list?

Does anyone know what happened Uniqueblade.com? I have some knives on order for a couple weeks now (since Sept. 28). I was charged for the knives on Oct. 3 and if they shipped at that time they should have definately been here by now as even USPS usually takes no more than 2 business days from prett...
