Re: eBay ShellPuller $600
I don’t see many parts for vintage German Shell pullers or at least not enough for more than one or two but…
You have enough parts to make a:
1. Shellaletto with shell pullers.
2. Multiletto with a saw blade and camping tools.
3. Swingerletto with swing guards.
Get creative…I won’t be here ...

My 1975 Herbertz catalog has one without pullers but it has the same bolsters etc.JulesVane wrote: Thu Dec 18, 2025 3:35 am Beautiful knife. I actually thought it would fetch more. That's a 1970's knife? THAT I never would have guessed. But, some new owner has a beauty there!

Crazy price but good to see other buy ones. It’s not a very old one. Maybe mid-1970s.
Condition is primo.
Bill has crates of parts. Maybe he can make mint ones for everyone

Re: Latama new custom
Hope you didn't pay it, Tariffs are between the importer/exporter has nothing to do with the consumer. Sounds like a scam.
Hmm, not exactly sure what you mean. It was a private sale, from a private individual in Argentina. I'm not sure if that made me the importer(?). Paperwork from the ...

Re: Vintage Jndiana display board
Always nice to see the old catalogs. I knew Lucio D was active in the Maniago cutlery community, but was not aware of his prominence as a Maniago cutlery historian.
I know Lucio D has some association with the Dolphin brand. What do we know about Dolphin other than they market a variety of ...

Re: Looking to learn about a Germany marked side open knife
The catalog page shows the knife number 351 is available as the model i.HH R with imitation stag scales. "Hirshhornschalen" would be red deer stag antler or sanbar deer antler or whatever they call the creature that German "stag" comes from. So that 1979 catalog shows both types of handles, it ...

Re: Vintage Jndiana display board
Here is an old light up store sign. This company worked with Coltellerie Riunite selling Coricama products.
I also have a matching one for Coltellerie Bufalo. Anyone know who that is?
One interesting discovery about the Coricama made Astor Display knife…my younger brother was watching a 1950s ...

Re: Looking to learn about a Germany marked side open knife
I bought this knife knowing basically nothing except that it looks like the Taiwanese side open knives that have a safety that slides under the button to open the knife. It appears to have nickel silver bolsters and maybe a plastic, stag look scales. Just says Inox Solingen Germany on it, so the ...

Re: German shellpuller
12 hours to go. My guess is this is actually a 1970s model. I’ve seen similar construction of Springers in my old C Jul Herbertz catalogs.
I have like 4-5 Vintage Herbertz catalogs with all sorts of autos. These will never be found on the intent no matter how hard one searches. This old paper work ...

More interesting Jndiana items. I don’t even collect these. Just picked everything up over the years because it’s cool and tell the story of the true Italian masters for the past 175 years.
