Thanks for the feedback, guys. I will dig into this "project" next week and take photos on the individual knives and post them.

Here are three groupings of some of my older autos. Most of you know a lot more about these knives than I do (I inherited the majority of them), and I am eager to learn, so please weigh in on anything you find interesting or unusual.

The others are great as well.

The biggest one is approx 4.25". The others are all in the 2.5" - 3" range.

Here is a boot knife I bought probably 30 years ago and it became a safe queen. Maker is DM Dent. It has nickel silver bolsters, mother of pearl scales and black liners. The shape of the handle makes it easy to hold. Overall length is about 8".

My father collected these on trips to Italy over the years, and I inherited them a few years ago.

The smallest one is 7" and the next smallest one is 8".

Hi all, new member here. I have a few daggers that I inherited from my father and a few that I collected. I'll post them on this forum over the next few days. Yeah, that happens all the time in gun shows, etc. But I like them and can afford it!

Here are a couple of paratrooper knives from my collection. These are not switchblades... is it OK to post them in this forum, i.e., are they close enough?

I paid more than that in the 2000's and 2010's... probably in the $40-$75 range.

Oh, that makes sense. The Dalton is slightly notched but not cut all the way through. I guess it's enough to catch the spring in Dalton's design.

Nice! Thanks for posting. Does anyone know what the notch at the top of the blade is for? My HALO has one also, and the Dalton has a "shadow" of one, but it's not cut out.
