Re: Tired!

Bill, you have no idea on how grateful I am that you manage to work one in for me with the workload you have- The front scale on my Latama looks just the way I had pictured, very well done. I couldn't be more pleased, Thanks again -

Re: Outstanding repair work -

Highspeed steel, let me clarify. The two knives I mentioned when starting the thread, were both bought used. One from the forum and the other from AAPK. I will admit, I was a bit disappointed in each due to each being described as very clean and in excellent condition. Both sellers were a little off ...

Outstanding repair work -

This is just my comments on two of my knives that Bill Deshivs has worked on. Awhile back, I had bought a black horn Latama, but when I got it,
I discovered the blade was extremely tight along with almost impossible to release. I had sent it to Walt at Latama, it went to Bill and now works as it ...

Re: Bark River Knives Bravo 1

I've bought at least ten different Bark Rivers over the years, and they are very well made. Too bad the owner went over to the dark side, but
DLT Trading carries a super good selection- I had a collection of the Fox River series for years and you can't hurt them; they are tough and capable knives ...

Bark River, Fox River--

Before you keep on scrolling, please read what I have - And yes, I know all about Bark River closing. I read the entire article and what I am selling was not listed. I have a Fox River, CPM 3V, which along with the Fox Rivers, was not on the list of affected knives. Although I'll never be out in the ...

Re: Knife Comparison

It seems a little hard to try and guess how old these might be because no way of knowing how long the original buyer has had them. They may have been in a previous collection for years. You all know how thus is, one day you look at one and decide you can part with it. Or there is a need for cash ...

Re: Arizonas series of auto doctors knives

It was too dangerous, I sent it back before it sent me to the ER. I did call Arizona knives and talked to Andrew, to ask if I picked out another four numbers to check, would it be possible to find one that works normally. He has helped in the past and said certainly, no problem - I keep thinking ...

Re: Counterfeit LEVERLETTO!!!

I had the black handled one simply marked "Colt" on the blade. Opened ok and sort of a clever design to unlatch the blade but aside from that not a real keeper.

Arizonas series of auto doctors knives

Bill, this is a question for you. I saw where another member had purchased one of these and had the same issues I had with mine- These are magnificent looking knives, listed as being Italian made, the fit and finish is very good and carefully polished. They look like a million bucks, but are scary ...

Custom knife I'm looking at -

I found a maker on Facebook named Liam Clark and I am very interested in contacting him, but the only thing I found was the comments. I left a
note on there and also mentioned on another spot but can find no way to PM him. Above the knife in the photo, it says if interested please PM me, but I have ...

Re: New Latamas from Latama??

Terrific, that's a beauty- I simply didn't get that the $1460 knives were the customs- One of my best picklocks came from Arizona as used, but it's choice and works fine, really nice brown horn --My collection is 8 Latamas, a fishtail AGA and some flippers. The Latama's are all outstanding horn, and ...
