Re: Rizzuto variation
Way back in 1986 I got a 7" BO/BC Rizzuto with the "S" guards, plain brass bail and blue scales. It also had the "stainless steel" mark in a half circle. It was a get from a guy who got from a guy deal so I don't know how old it was when I got it.

If anyone wants, I believe Perryknifeworks has this knife with black blade for under $180. Not pushing his website, just noting.

Re: 17cm Latama "wasp" flat guard
That little Latama is beautiful. I had one that I let get away from me when I was raising money to buy a gas forge. I don't kick myself, exactly, because I want every knife and understand I can't have them, at least not at the same time. But I sure do miss it.

Re: Everyone's first Balisong?
It's hard to say, my first balisong was either a Pakistani all steel 5 inch bought at a flea market, or one of those Hackman copies you could buy at K-Mart for $3. I remember with the Hackman copy I took a spring from a clothespin, straightened it out and heated one end then jammed it into the plast...

Re: alphabetized list of Switchblades in Films
Hello everyone I wanted to post this a few days earlier, was doing it when a large tulip poplar fell onto my house and ripped out lines, so if this a double post I apologize. I'd like to add to the knives in movies list the following: THE INCREDIBLE TWO HEADED TRANSPLANT 1971 At the 1hr 4min to 1hr ...

Re: Custom Made Switchblade F/S
I watched a repair video on Youtube fixing a similar knife. The coilspring looked like it had been taken from an old windup alarm clock, and the firing mechanism was the Flylock design, but so simple! On the button side, hidden under a hollow bolster was a disc of metal about quarter inch thick, hel...
