Nope.. not insinuating anything.. merely expressing a point of view.. I certainly wouldn't call someone who is constantantly on the lookout for something new (or old as the case may be).. and sells some of his less desirable stuff to make room.. a dealer... but someone who is happy to profit from th...

Your outlook is one shared by most I would imagine.. I however make no distinction between who I will help.. I would be thrilled to bits to help someone who had a knife that was much more valuable than they thought.. imagine for instance someone who inherited a knife from his dad or grandad and had ...

Hi..

He should replace it for you.. and probably will.. but you will possibly have to stand the cost of returning it to him.. you should send him a mail first though.. explaining the situation..

One or two have had problems with Spyderman.. but he's usually OK..

No..

By my thinking I would have paid the original owner something nearer what it was worth.. and if I only found out after the event I'd give him/her a chunk of the profits.. I do however realise that the world doesn't work that way..

Let me put this way.. My concience wouldn't let me make those sort of profits.. so I'd probably never make it as a seller in the first place.. my concience would also prevent me from making a "killing" on a knive I bought from someone who had no idea of it's true value.. I wouldn't be able to sleep ...

!00% mark-up is just being greedy... Stu 711 is among the biggest sellers of imported knives on the web.. and he manages to do quite nicely with much lower profit margins.. which pisses the others off no end.. granted he operates on a "high volume low profit" basis but many dealers out there are cha...

Greetings..

I'm pretty sure it's illegal to import switchblade knives into the USA full stop!

But I have yet to hear of anyone being prosecuted for trying..

For the various state laws on posession and carry see this link..

This bloody Kool-Aid thing has been mystifying me for long enough..so I just went and looked it up.. now many threads where the term has cropped up make more sense..

It is remarkable what can be achieved by a silver tongue..

What pisses me off no end is the enormous GREED of the retailers.. AKC sell those knives to the importers at around $35-40 each.. and they have to actually manufacture them.. then the greedy sellers add at least 100% mark-up.. I'm sure Stu would sell them for a lot less than he does if he possibly c...
