Re: Two Frank B PICK LOCKS-KNIVES ARE SOLD

I can't even begin to express what a give-away deal that was!

You're making me feel guilty dude!

But, if anything else, they'll be well taken care of and with about 70 or 80 of their Beltrame relatives! I even have one of their "grand-pappys" here, a BV&F, for them to visit with!!

Re: 7" Speed Hunter- Now China

I have 3 Widows. One I bought way back when they were first introduced in ebony and two I acquired more recently. In comparing them I wasn't able to find any issues that concerned me too much about where the newer ones were produced, even though I can be paranoid! The only thing I noticed of ...

Re: Looks like I'm Headed to the Barn

Just to get this thread back on track- buy Dave's knives!
They are all reasonably priced!

I wholeheartedly agree!!

I've bought at least 6 over the past month or two, and I'm still considering a few others!!

Very fair prices, extremely well kept pieces, accurately described. David is a great ...

Re: 7" Speed Hunter- Now China

I hate to even suggest it, but, I noticed over the last 12 months that Black Widows are available again, and in all sorts of scale variations on 3K/KS. Does anyone know who's building these?? I can't imagine they're NOS or old inventory because there are so many scale materials (burls, etc.) that I ...

Same with old Harleys, if it doesn't have a wet spot under it you probably ran out.

 So true!!

I also have an '84 1000cc Sportster (another all in the family since new candidate) and I'm always suspicious of it because it doesn't leak!

Regards my Triumph, it's not considered authentic "Brit Iron" if they're not leaking oil!

Re: Looks like I'm Headed to the Barn

Nice bike, I have a 66 flh which is a work in progress but I have a 96 Heratige Nostalgia which I ride as much as I can. Old with a lower back surgery keeps my rides shorter than I like, it what it is.

I hear you on the aging and riding thing! Believe it or not, I managed to fracture my C1 on ...

Beautiful car Dave, they don't get more classic than that!!
I have a '55 Hemi powered Chrysler New Yorker, it's been in our family since new and has 36k legit miles! My grandfather had a stroke not long after buying it so it's been a Garage Queen all its life! The only problem with these cars is ...

Re: Frank Beltrame 2025

I can attest to the statements above as I bought 5 of these 2025 LE Picklocks and they're built solid. They are snappy, with tight tolerances, and on a beefier frame!! Great knives!

Whomever acquires it will definitely be happy with it!

Sorry, not trying to be a shill, I just finished re-oiling ...

I recently picked up one of his butterfly "letter openers!" It looks like a brass pocket pen!!

Fun little novelty piece!

Re: Middle eastern lever lock knife with brass knuckles.

That offer seems fair! I don't have one but I've always wanted a knuckle knife to add to my collection. There was an AGA version that someone mangled offered on one of the popular websites recently. If I recall, it had started life as a Frosolone too! Nonetheless, I think if I ever get one, I'd ...

Wow! Super nice example!! I wish I had picked one up a couple years ago because I haven't had any luck finding a nice vintage Latama recently after deciding I should add one to my collection. You've got a true heirloom there brother!!

Re: Dolphins Maniago Falcon 11" Italian Stiletto Ring Pull

Ram's horn shrinks badly.

No, please! :(

Seriously, I know it's true, and I do my best to properly maintain my knives. Do you know if there's any specific routine one can follow for Ram's Horn to mitigate shrinkage? Is there a Polish or treatment that helps slow it from drying out and ...
