Re: Broken spring on Nato Military knife
Here is a picture of the spring but not snapped I had one of these springs break on a NATO. Luckily I had a broken TOP Automatic OTF comb that had a similar latch spring. I took it and filed it down with a Dremel to fit the one that was in the NATO. Sure enough it worked and I got the NATO working ...

The knife in that video belongs to my buddy Christian Thorn. He has a really nice switchblade collection. He has an old AGA Campolin shell puller lock back stiletto, which is no longer in production. He also has a Bargeon and a Case Cheetah auto conversion done by the late Tank Fisher.

Re: Just scored my first picklock!
Mario A Rosco picklock for 40 dollars I think its a real steal and .I would have snapped it up aswell . . Pity about the blade being overly sharpened but this knife was obviously a user ,not a drawer queen and would have a few stories to tell i'll wager. Do you plan to clean it up,alter it etc or l...

Just scored my first picklock!
Hey guys, I was at a pawn shop earlier looking at some knives the guy had. He had some stuff that was way overpriced and some stuff that was underpriced. Typical with pawn shops. After a couple minutes of looking I noticed what looked like a stiletto behind a stun gun box. I waited for the guy to ge...

Re: Edge Company auto kit
I just thought of something. Have you tried pinning the blade and bolsters in place? Maybe that’s a step that needs done first in order for the spring to work. I know the directions say to insert the spring first, but to me it seems like that step should come last. I’m just thinking maybe there’s no...

Re: Edge Company auto kit
How exactly is the spring not fitting? Is it too big for this particular model of knife? Have you tried inserting it and finding something to hold it in place while you hammer the pin down? Maybe you could demonstrate to us what it’s getting hung up on.

Re: 14" German springer.
Wow! That’s a big one! This was obviously before Germany changed the law limiting autos to 3 and a quarter inches (I think that’s the blade requirement).

Re: Latama v Frank B
I would love to get a Latama, but the highest I’m willing to go on a knife is $250 and I can never find any that are in my price range.

Re: CHRONOLOGICAL LIST of switchblades in movies
There’s a stiletto in 1982’s Fighting Back. Gets pulled during a fight scene. There is also a stiletto in a fight scene in 1980’s The Ninth Configuration.

Has anybody seen this balisong before?
This one is a Valor import. Made in Japan. Have any of you seen this one before? I thought it looked quite unique with those guards. I call them “ninja guards.” LOL! I picked it up for $74 at a flea market.

Re: Interesting Box..!
Pretty freakin cool box there! I see some Italians, some manual folders, a Super Automatic OTF, a Mikov, what appears to be a Dual Speed two blade Chinese Mikov-style leverlock, and it looks like there may be a Lightning OTF in there as well.

Re: My new display set-up
Nice collection and display! On the bottom shelf I see a knuckle duster folding lock blade exactly like one my older brother has had since I was ten or so. Also a small Bowie from, perhaps, Imperial? I have one just like it and a very similar one from Utica. Lots of balisongs! I believe that bowie ...

Re: My new display set-up
I like that Damascus one. Any guess how old it is? I need to find me something with a Damascus blade. Thanks for sharing The Damascus one is from Rite Edge. That’s what it says on the carry pouch snap button. I think it’s a fairly new knife. Rite Edge imports a lot of Damascus knives from Pakistan.
